Long Beach Sportfishing operates out of Berth 55 in the Port of Long Beach, just off the 710 Freeway at 555 Pico Avenue. Steve Fukuto founded the landing in 1998 with former Eldorado partner Captain Mike Redlew, on the site of the old Queen's Wharf Sportfishing. Fukuto still owns the Eldorado, the fleet's flagship.

Fleet

The current fleet runs eight boats:

  • Eldorado (85' × 22') — overnight and multi-day trips with 35 bunks, galley seating for 20, a 100-scoop live bait tank, and twin 3.5-ton refrigerated fish holds. Captains TJ Schlick and Will Hogue.
  • Victory (75' × 22/23') — 3/4-day local trips, 6:00 a.m. departure, up to 50 anglers. Captains George Xenios and Kevin Xiong.
  • Ahra Ahn (60' × 20') — 3/4-day local and full-day Catalina trips, 35 anglers. Captain Andy Lee.
  • El Patron (50' × 16') — full-day limited-load Catalina and offshore tuna trips, 21 anglers. Captain Chris Isaac, co-owned with Rick Carbajal.
  • Six-pack charters: Dreamer (Captain Allyn Watson), MarDiosa (Captain Ricky Perez and Herman Dorado), Chubasco III (Captain Darryl Sato), Pacific Raider (Captain Jim Valdez).
Trip types

Published 2026 pricing on the booking system: 3/4-day trips on the Victory run $82.80 per angler, with weekday specials at $60 Tuesday through Sunday. Full-day limited-load on El Patron runs $113.85 to $135.59. Eldorado overnights run $270 to $295. A California one-day fishing license costs $21.09 for anyone 16 or over aboard.

Recent reports

On April 19, 2026, the Victory returned from a 3/4-day with 55 anglers counting 440 rockfish, 165 sculpin, 35 whitefish, 21 sheephead, and 1 lingcod.
